Navan 30: Modern Style, Versatile Design

The Navan 30 looks like a European dayboat, but this do-it-all adventurer from Brunswick is ready to cruise, fish, tow, entertain, and overnight.

The lines on the Navan 30 look European – Scandinavian in particular – but the Navan (pronounced “Nav-ahn”) brand comes straight from American builder Brunswick (although they’re built in Poland). Navan was introduced to European boaters two years ago (where it won Powerboat of the Year) but debuted Stateside at the October 2024 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show. It delivers another multipurpose boat rigged for fishing, towsports, overnighting, and entertaining, with a grill and refrigerated drawers hidden under a lift-away bench seat!

Standout Features

  • Accommodates 12, sleeps 3
  • CZone digital switching
  • Skylight roof hatch

Pilothouses are integral to traditional Scandinavian boat designs to protect occupants from the cold Nordic conditions. Pilothouse boats are more common in the New England, Great Lakes, and Pacific Northwest regions, not so much in Florida or any warm-weather climes. So the Navan 30 comes in two versions: an enclosed cabin with an aft flip-up window and sliding doors (the C30), or an open cockpit design with a fiberglass T-top integrated with acrylic windows (S30). Optional 12-volt AC/heating is available in both versions.
Regardless of the edition, you’ll find a big sun lounge with adjustable back rest at the bow (and a clever optional bow pulpit pad for diving or casting a line). The closed bow leaves room belowdecks for a double berth with an enclosed head illuminated by LED and natural light. You’ll also find a second galley with sink and stove.

Dual 12-inch Simrad NSX screens anchor the helm, where twin captain’s chairs with flip-up bolsters that swivel around to join conversation with passengers on a wide aft bench seat. Standard features include hydraulic steering and Zipwake trim control.
On the S30, that seat flips up to reveal an ice chest, sink, refrigerated drawers, and a cooktop. Integrated rod holders and a standard tow bar keep the entertainment options open. Power options include single or twin Mercury outboards up to 600 hp.
